About Rebecca
Originally, my pursuit of psychology stemmed from a desire to gain profound insights into my own self, seeking resolutions, and subsequently being equipped to share my acquired knowledge and skills to aid individuals in mending their inner wounds.
With a background spanning nine years in the mental health sector, I ventured into private practice in early 2022, focusing primarily on offering trauma therapy services.
My clientele encompasses individuals grappling with a spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, personality disorders, and assorted psychological distresses. Notably, I bring personal experience to the table in terms of trauma and the journey to recovery.
My therapeutic expertise extends to being an IFS Informed Therapist, certified in Resource Therapy and an adept advanced practitioner of EMDR. My credentials also encompass certification as a grief and loss therapist, supplemented by the integration of various other therapeutic approaches when deemed necessary.
Education-wise, I possess a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Master of Counselling Degree.
My professional standing is validated by my affiliation with the Australian Counselling Association.
